Welcome
Thank you for clicking on the Harrisburg Regional Chamber's Legislative and Political Advocacy Action Center. As the only Chamber in the Region accredited by the US Chamber of Commerce, we are happy to provide you with this tool to help you stay up to date on federal issues impacting your business, as well as providing easy access to contact your elected officials. Most elected officials tell us they don't hear as much as they would like to hear from the Business Community regarding both suggestions as well as positive and negative comments. This is a simple way to be heard in today's increasingly complex political process.
It's important that our elected officials hear from us, both collectively as the Business Community through the Chamber and individually. President Obama, Senate Leader Harry Reid and Speaker Nancy Pelosi are pushing a very aggressive agenda that may not always have the best interests of the business community in mind. While we will monitor and form certain positions on behalf of our membership, we encourage you to become educated on national, as well as statewide issues that will impact taxes, regulation and your business' bottom-line. I have heard time and time again, a thoughtful email or note from a constituent carries a great deal of weight in the halls of Congress and the State Capitol.
Click on the "Take Action" button to the right and let your elected officials know how you feel about important issues.
This fall and in future elections, click "Learn More" under Campaigns and Elections to find the latest voting requirements, locate your polling place and to learn more about the candidates and issues.
Thank you for being a member of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & CREDC. Thank you taking time to get involved.
